Starting March 24th, 2008 ESL will begin their Spring CoD4 2v2 Double Elimination contest. The mode of play will be the all-time Call of Duty classic Search & Destroy, while 64 duos will duke it out over the near month long period with competitions lasting until the 15th of April(matches have a 24 hour leeway period). Matches will be played monday, wednesday, and friday of each week at 10:00 CET. This marks yet another competition for the Call of Duty 4 syndicate which has gained as much popularity since its release as any competitive game in history. This includes its likely spot in several big LAN competitions later this year, of course similar circumstances surrounded CoD1 which never fully got the mainstream recognition post Summer-CPL.
