The ASUS Spring and Winter Cups are really strong indicators of how things stand in the european competitive market, not only with just the big name teams. Last weekend major european games such as WC3, StarCraft, DoTa, and Quake 3 took the center stage, but this weekend it was all about Counter-Strike 1.6. With about 12000 Euro at stake, many teams made their play at one of the top paying positions (with spots 5-8 all paying the same amount). Round out of the top 4 were tp.uSports and HellRaisers taking home 4th and 3rd respectively. In 2nd place is the always solid EYESports, with the number 1 team in the field falling on the shoulders of Amazing Gaming who took home 4,042 Euro in prize money.
