Taking place January 24th, 2007 the competition was brought to a close, the votes were tallied, and the winners were announced.


Over a two month period over 80 thousand votes were placed deciding which Mod out over 4000 strong, would be the Player's Choice, Mod of the Year. This year marks the first year where Valve's classic Half-Life engine didn't prevail and end up on top of the leaderboards. It's younger brother the Half-Life: Source Engine held strong, but the true hero of the story was the Battlefield 2 engine. The winner was unaninmously chosen to be Point of Existance: 2.
