Microsoft Game Studios and Epic Games announced have announced the "Gears of War" 2007 Global Tournament, presented by the World Cyber Games. Competitors will duke it out on Xbox Live for four weeks in 3v3 or 4v4 matches. The top 12 finalist will end up taking a trip to Prague to compete in the World Finals and the final four from there will have an automatic enterance and an all-expense paid trip to their country's 2007 World Cyber Games National Championship event. The tournament began last March and will end at the 29th of April so be sure to game it up at the link below.

The top 12 finalists with the highest individual scores will receive the Grand Prize, a trip for two to Prague to compete in the World Finals. The top four finalists in each participating country will win automatic entrance and an all-expenses paid trip to their country`s 2007 World Cyber Games National Championship event. Secondary prizes include an Xbox 360 Bundle - boasting an Xbox 360 Pro console, ``Viva Pinata,`` ``Project Gotham Racing 3,`` ``Xbox Live Arcade Unplugged Volume 1,`` ``Kameo`` and a 12-month Xbox Live subscription - as well as ``Gears of War`` faceplates and statues.
