Over the past few months rumors have been heavily spreading around the gaming communities that Blizzard Entertainment will be working on the long-awaited sequel, Starcraft 2. According to Thisisgame.com and GosuGamers, Blizzard will be announcing the sequel in South Korea at The World Wide Invitational (WWI). Apparently Starcraft 2 will be developed using 3D-technology and a new race will be added. The 3rd WWI will be held on the 19th and 20th of May at the Olympic Gymnasitics and Fencing Stadiums in Seoul, South Korea - Blizzard Korea says "...we cannot answer anything about Starcraft 2, we will have a new game on the 19th so please come [to WWI] and find out [which game it is]." Could the rumors be true, is Starcraft 2 actually going to be announced? Who knows.
