The Championship Gaming Series recently partnered up with the Spring 2007 Game Live U College Tour to host the first ever CGS College Tour. The College Tour, which recently concluded this past weekend, gave gamers from 20 colleges across the United States the opportunity to compete in CGS's Combine (determines seeding for the Draft). Adonde "Swoozie" Thorne, a Dead or Alive 4 player from Jax Money Krew who has competed in the last two Championship Gaming Invitationals, recently went to Tampa, Florida to produce a short video blog of the college stop.
The video covers some of the highlights of the event in Swoozie's point of view. "[CGS is] about to do what to do to video games what the NBA did to basketball," stated Swoozie in this video as he worked the crowd interviewing gamers from the college.
"Guys started camping out and waiting... for two hours and we had guys that stayed there from six to ten."
"You can just feel the energy in the air."
"CGS, this, is, going, to, work..."
