
Intel has announced their 2007 Challenge Cup, featuring a total prize purse of $50,000. The primary game to be competed in at the Cup will be the classic Counter-Strike 1.6, and a total of 32 teams. The 32 teams will be decided upon by 16 invitational spots, and 16 qualifier spots. This competition will take place September 14th through the 16th in Moscow, Russia at the Crocus Expo. The competition pays out to the top 8 teams, with first place receiving $20,000 for their victory.
