The ESWC has gone ahead and already announced 4 of its key games for next years competitions. Though many of them are almost automatic, its in what they havent selected yet that has people most intrigued. With CS Male, CS Female, Warcraft 3, and the upcoming Trackmania Nations decided upon the next game is likely to be what is known as a "pure fps." What sort of game is up for this spot, well the classic suggestions are as always appearing such as Quake 3 and Quake 4. The other game up for decision, and the likely pick, is the upcoming title Unreal Tournament 3. The game which is already gathering momentum as its release is just over a month away is facing little competition in the FPS category for the ESWC slot. Some other games being thrown into the mix include Warsow, Doom3, CoD4, and TF2 to name a few.
