Press Release (Source) - Today without the consultation of Supanova, the Cyberathlete Professional League and Sierra USA have chosen to cancel the Australian World Tour stop one week out from the event.

We here at Supanova feel this is an unfortunate mistake and are deeply sorry to have to be the ones to break this news.

This unfortunate event also means we must now place the Bring Your Own Computer (BYOC) LAN on hold for a future event. We know personally from all the emails that we received that fans were really keen on this event and in saying that I hope that we here at Supanova with your support and input can organize a much better event at a future Supanova Expo.

All is not lost though and we are now working around the clock to bring you some extra gaming events which I'll announce this weekend and we still have a lot of exciting gaming displays to keep you busy!

This year EB Games are taking out a mega-space on the floor with many of your favourite gaming companies! Check it out for yourselves including the very flash Supanova trailer at www.ebgames.com.au!

Auran are going to put their new MMO game FURY on display for all you Supanova fans. Also, thanks to Ubisoft, fans of Naruto get to check out the Naruto Ultimate Warrior game on Xbox 360 before anyone else in Australia! Attendees can also get their hands on The Simpsons game from EA as they come to the party ready to strut their stuff!

THQ are providing 3 random game posters for every show bag. Sony and Wizards of the Coast will give attednees a first galnce at The Eye Judgement game for PS3. Sony will also be rocking out at Supanova with playable demos of the new Singstar Game and Guitar Hero 3.

And that's just the beginning!
